Throws for Valor – A Tribute Through Every Throw
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we announce Throws for Valor, a special partnership at the Mesa County Fantasy Faire where every throw honors courage and community.
100% of the proceeds from the Marksman's Meadow Target Pit activity will be donated directly to the Veterans Art Center in Grand Junction, CO.
The Target Pit, operated by Gracie Jiu Jitsu Grand Junction, will feature thrilling knife and axe throwing.

Young adventurers learn knots, pirate etiquette, and foam‑safe skills. -

Shanties, weapons demos (guns & blades), and Barber Surgeon demonstrations.

Friday, September 4 Cosplay & Kids’ Day

Fantasy Faire Opening: Cannon Fire Ceremony The guild tent will open for check‑in, questions, and registration immediately following the ceremony.
12:30–1:15 PM
Little Legends: Interactive Storytelling (Ages 0–5) A cooperative fantasy adventure where children guide one shared hero through a playful quest. A giant foam die determines each twist in the story, with sing-along moments and a whimsical celebration—perhaps even an orc’s very unusual birthday. The session concludes with a dragon‑tooth painting activity.

Open Tent, Registration & Faire Activity Break Families may attend the continuing Kids’ Pirate Workshop: Crew of the Little Rogues (2:00–4:00 PM). The guild tent will remain open for questions, character selection, merchandise, and registration for later sessions.

Guild Programming Pause Reset and transition time, followed by:

4:30 PM: Interactive Pirate Showcase This block reserves enough time for guild members to attend and return, as the showcase’s end time has not yet been confirmed.

Young Adventurers: Collaborative Storytelling (Ages 6–9) A more detailed shared adventure where children choose the heroes’ path, face challenges, and solve problems together. The giant foam die determines success, surprises, and story changes.

Gatefall Junior Hunter One-Shot (Ages 10–14) A beginner-friendly tabletop adventure run by Tylor and Raymond. Players use simplified premade characters to enter a Gatefall training simulation and test their potential as future hunters.
