Punk Rock Saves Lives – About Us

Punk Rock Saves Lives (PRSL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built from the fierce, DIY spirit of the punk community. Their message is simple and powerful: you belong here — no matter who you are or what you’re carrying. They show up for people who feel lost, invisible, overwhelmed, or alone, offering connection, compassion, and a place to breathe.

PRSL travels to concerts, festivals, and tours across the country, turning the energy of live music into real‑world action. They sign people up for the bone marrow registry through DKMS, because a single cheek swab could be the match that saves someone fighting leukemia, lymphoma, or other blood cancers. Every swab is hope. Every match is a chance at life.

They also break down barriers to self‑care by providing harm‑reduction tools like naloxone (Narcan), test strips, earplugs, and emergency contraception — without stigma, without judgment. Their belief is clear: everyone deserves the chance to make it to the next show. Every kit, every conversation, every moment of compassion can save a life.

Mental health advocacy is at the heart of their mission. PRSL creates safe spaces, shares resources, and reminds people that asking for help is not weakness — it’s punk as hell. They show up for people’s minds and hearts, fighting stigma and shouting into the dark that you matter and you are not alone.

Their work has grown through community partnerships, including the merger with PunksGiving, expanding their reach to populations in need and strengthening their ability to unite positive resources within the punk and hardcore scene.

At the Fantasy Faire

We are honored to welcome Punk Rock Saves Lives as the Faire’s Official Traveling Vendors of Compassion. Their booth will offer resources, education, and opportunities to get involved — from cheek‑swab registry sign‑ups to mental‑health support materials and harm‑reduction tools.

They bring the same fierce love and community spirit to the Faire that they bring to festivals nationwide.

Visitors can stop by their booth to learn, connect, breathe, and be reminded that kindness is a radical act — and that compassion is always punk.

Holsteins ’n Horses – About Us

Holsteins ’n Horses is a local 501(c)(3) farm‑animal sanctuary dedicated to giving rescued cows and horses a safe, loving, and permanent home. Many of their animals come from situations where they were neglected, hurting, or simply unwanted. At the sanctuary, they receive exceptional care, patience, and the chance to heal at their own pace.

Their mission began with a mother watching her autistic child transform through time spent with rescued animals. The calm presence of the cows and horses helped her child connect, grow, and thrive in ways traditional therapies couldn’t reach. That experience inspired her to open the sanctuary’s gates to other families, especially autistic and special‑needs children who benefit from gentle, sensory‑friendly interactions.

Today, Holsteins ’n Horses offers personalized visits for children, families, and small groups. Their certified therapy horse provides a unique experience designed specifically for autistic children, helping build confidence, emotional regulation, and meaningful connection.

At the Fantasy Faire, Holsteins ’n Horses will be sharing their mission and introducing guests to some of their rescued animals. Because these animals are sensitive rescues, all interactions will follow clear, gentle‑touch guidelines to ensure their comfort and safety. Guests are invited to meet them, learn their stories, and support the sanctuary’s ongoing work.

Holsteins ’n Horses is committed to compassion, healing, and second chances — for both animals and the people who love them.

Veterans Art Center - About Us

The Veterans Art Center, a program of Operation Revamp, Inc., is dedicated to helping veterans heal through creativity, community, and connection. Their mission is simple yet profound: “It is not our intent to create great artists but to create great souls.” Through free access to studios, supplies, equipment, classes, and workshops, the Center provides a welcoming space where veterans, active‑duty service members, and their families can explore art as a pathway to wellness.

Located at 307 S 12th Street, Grand Junction, Colorado, the Veterans Art Center offers an array of opportunities including healing arts, ceramics, leatherwork, music, open studios, one‑on‑one tutoring, and veteran‑led classes. Every program is provided at no cost, ensuring that those navigating PTSD, TBI, MST, depression, substance abuse, homelessness, unemployment, or other emotional challenges have a supportive place to create, recover, and belong.

Operation Revamp is committed to raising awareness of the hidden wounds of war and providing resources that help veterans heal from the inside out. The Veterans Art Center is not a replacement for therapy, but a complementary space where creativity becomes a tool for recovery, empowerment, and community building.

2026 Throws of Valor Recipients

We are proud to honor the Veterans Art Center as the 2026 recipients of the Throws of Valor Award, recognizing their outstanding service, dedication, and impact within the veteran community.
